Coronavirus Response: Ghana Tech Summit to Support Virtual Training of Remote Learning for Students and Remote Work Training for Businesses via the GhanaRemote Initiative
[March 16, 2020- Accra, Ghana] In response to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s announcement this past Sunday, Ghana Tech Summit- the country’s leading tech summit community will institute a multi-week online virtual training series for students and for businesses across the country.
With announcement of school closures and lockdown on public gatherings above 25, the entire country will be confined to navigating their academic and career obligations from home. With over 5 years in virtual training via webinars and accelerators, the Global Startup ecosystem which powers the 13 year Ghana Tech Summit platform will support the nation during this transition with its remote training services.
Over 2000+ of the nation’s top universities and businesses have received the protocol plan and program outline for this “GhanaRemote” Initiative. Each entity will receive a customized overhaul plan that will be implemented immediately.
