“As a Senior Partner Manager at Google, David is responsible for the company’s strategic partnerships with publishers in Sub-Saharan Africa. As such, he is helping digital businesses grow, innovate and optimise their models within a very challenging but also promising environment. Prior to joining Google, he served as a Product Development Manager for mobile banking in Kenya and as a consultant and researcher for Oxfam, GIZ, MRC and the World Bank in South Africa, Nigeria, Mozambique and Uganda.
David is the CEO of two companies with business streams in the food industry, consulting and digital influencing, and the co-founder of Go Ahead, one of Germany’s most successful youth driven NGOs, with over 500 volunteers and part time staff. He is a strong believer in the power of innovation and mobile technology and is convinced that the most interesting trends are currently happening on the African continent. David is a TedX fellow, EU Scholarship recipient and holds a MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics.”
